Nice to meet you. I’m Jen.

I’m a reporter, editor and writer. I’ve spent a lot of my career writing about the business of footwear, which I love, and a lot profiling interesting people, which I really really love. (Often, these fields overlap.)

My Q&As, in-depth features and reportage have appeared in Running Insight, Footwear News and Solecollector.com, as well as the alumni publications of the Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science and the University of California-Davis, among others. 

I have an M.A. in magazine writing from New York University and a B.A. from Georgetown University. I know AP Style, and I can probably answer your questions about what sneakers to buy.
